Hello! I was born and raised in Foxboro, Massachusetts which means I am required to be a New England Patriots fan. 
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, my Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Bridgewater State College in Elementary Education, and a Masters of Arts degree in School Counseling and Guidance. I am both Gifted and ESOL endorsed and am certified to teach ELA from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
I was a teacher in Massachusetts before relocating to Venice over a decade ago. I love teaching at Pine View and I hope to help students find their love of reading this year. My passion is to help students become confident learners and self-advocates. Transitioning to middle school can sometimes be tricky and I am here to help if needed!
In my free time, I enjoy running (well, I mostly enjoy being DONE running 
), Orange Theory, yoga, reading, and doing any activity with my sixteen year old 
son Ryan. We love animals and have a silly Golden Doodle named Libby as well as eight chickens.
